Got some of the blood work back last night:

Name value range

vit D 37.9 30 - 100
folate 12.2 > 5.4
b12 652 211 -911

Iron 43 37-170
ferritin 13 10-291

TSH 1.20 .47 -4.68
free T4 1.4 .8 - 2.2
free t3 3.2 2.8 - 5.3

HgA1C 5.4
fasting glucose 82

Hemagram:
hemoglobin 12.6
hematocrit 38.2

Everything normal except for the following:
low mcv and mch
high rdw-cv and rdw-sd
anisocytosis and hypochromia +1

Clearly the iron is a problem, both in the iron/ferritin numbers and the bad points in the hemagram.
I'm currently supplementing for that, and in a week my hgb went up from 12.0 to 12.6.

There's room to go up on Vitamin D as well.

It will be interesting to see what the reverse T3 comes back as when it comes back.

The Free t's look low in the normal range but what do I know.

I wont be going back to him until all the info is back from the tests, which will be at least 2 weeks because some of them had to be sent out.

I'm definitely going to be adding some iodine but wanted the thryroid tests to be over with before I started playing with that.
