Today is meant to be the last dry day for a while but it clouded over at 9 so I settled on going into town.

Before parking at the supermarket I left the car on the outskirts and took a walk down past the Sports Centre and out into the country to see whether there was any progress on the bridge repairs. The bridge was still closed, and there was no-one there, but there was more materiel on it including a portakabin (strange, because the sign said there was imminent danger of collapse!).

Turning back I decided to make a circuit using the riverside footpath as it was so dry. It must be decades since I walked it in this direction and was longer than I expected.

Running my errands in town completed the target.
