Something that has helped me is making sure I'm completely dry after showers, workouts, sweating. I tend to get them in my belly button and on my C-Section scar. After showering, I dry off and then use a blow dryer to briefly dry the area on low heat. My doctor also gave me a yeast infection powder that I sometimes dust on the area too.

Another thing I do is avoid fermented foods like cheese, pickles, soy sauce (difficult to do in Japan!), and black tea. That's a big one for me. If I'm drinking cups of Earl Grey tea regularly, I'm almost certain to get one soon. I have found that I can tolerate it more, as long as I'm consuming coconut too.
