That "New" Diet is an Oldie. Here are the basics in the plan section above:
http://www.lowcarb.ca/atkins-diet-a...otein-diet.html

40-60 grams is a lot of carbs (to me who uses a 20 g plan) and with the popularity of Ketogenic diets for weight loss now...you will get more support from more places if you try a lower carb plan.

Here is a great basic introduction to both LCHF and Keto:
https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb
The two week introduction challenge is based on Dr. Westman's clinic plan, very simple foods. https://www.dietdoctor.com/se/wp-co...starch_diet.pdf
But if you want to start cooking keto meals...there are a zillion recipes on Pinterest, FB and cookbooks galore. Our library has at least two dozen new Keto Cookbooks, plus all the older Low Carb ones too.

If you find the 20 g carb plans too difficult, you can always change as you go along (the DD intro above has three levels of strictness)

ps: I also see you read Dr. Bernstein's book, you will find other plans at the Diabetes sub-forum: http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=45

All the best.
