I've done likewise, I lost 70 pounds the first time and gained it and well lets just say A LOT more back on. This second time around was a bit tougher and the plateu's were a bit longer but it still works this last time I lost (depends on the time of day haha) 137-139 lbs (and still losing for now), so yes it works the second time around, but do learn from it, this is a way of life and not something to keep having to re-do, you'll be much happier in the long run. (its taken me a year and a half to arrive at that figure and it only took me about a year to put it on... )
