Cholesterol is a sterol/lipid that is present in all
cell membranes.It is present in higher concentration in cells with more dense membranes such as the liver and brain.
Cholesterol contributes to many of the body's
biochemical processes but it's exact role is
not completely understood.Cholesterol is used
for arterial repair and,as we all know,is highly
villified for it's supposed role in cardiovascular
problems.
