I just caught up with this movie, which I liked. My prejudices affirmed!

However, over on Diet Doctor, This article from Britain trashes the movie (among other things) involving our "cult."

I suppose it's the flowing and ebbing tide of interpretations and approaches that makes LC look faddish: Atkins, all meat, bulletproof coffee, intermittent fasting, ketogenic, etc. All these things have enthusiasts in the LC universe. All these things look a little strange to the casual reader.

Most of us long-timers (fifteen years?) have learned our own way of LC eating, tweaked now and then, that keeps our happy weight in the realm of healthy. Not thin. Not what we were at 22. Not wearing those skinny jeans anymore. But healthy, and not counting calories--or much of anything really.

I steer people to Diet Doctor and to this site. They need reassurance, not to mention evidence for their primary care physicians. We got this!
