Running is the worst thing you can do, and i do not mean you but everyone, i am seeing a sport doctor regularly for back pain, and as so many patients that are ex runners, joggers and sprinters, most of them started when they where young and are now in there 40-50-60, with arthitis in the knees and pain.

Running as so much impact on the whole body, each time you put your foot down its 10 times your bodyweight as impact.

I used to run when i was younger to get my cardio up for tae kwon do competition, each time i finished running my knees would hurt like crazy.

Still if you decide to go ahead and run make sure to have some very good running shoes, not cheap shoes a la walmart stuff, and try to run on a soft surface to limite impact.
