Everything in moderation is a good WOE for someone who has either already lost weight and is in control or never had a weight/love of food problem.
It's like a non-alcoholic telling an alcoholic don't go do bars and you won't be tempted to drink.
So much diet advice is all about food and exercise, very little talk of the emotional aspect of eating, craving food...
