HotHunt, thanks for the pep talk! I was a bit down yesterday but I am NOT about to give up. This WOE works and I'm sticking with it!!! I was just expressing some temporary frustration over what I'm very aware was a very very minor bounce back up... I even know what caused it. That brownie my 6 year old niece made... and I don't really even regret making her happy by enjoying her brownie.

Truly, if there were a guide to making a million bucks that was as easy and sure-fire as I've found losing weight on this WOE to be, I'd be rolling in the riches.

7/29: 180 Back down today AND I've been very very good and plan to stay that way! I also went for an hour-long swim this morning and am planning on going contra-dancing for a couple of hours this evening. That'll definitely burn some calories.

I Totally plan to be in the 170's next month. I had just hoped to make it by the end of THIS month. Who knows, I've still got a couple of days. I may get there yet!

~Hothunt: to change your "current weight" look at the top left corner of this or any page. In the turquoise blue bar just below the "I've got friends in low-carb places" logo, you'll see "USER CP". Click that. It takes you to your User Control Panel. Now, in the left hand column of that page, you'll see "settings and options" in a pink bar. Below that, look for "edit profile" and click that. That opens up the profile you entered when you first joined. There is a spot for current weight. Change the value then scroll to the bottom and click "save changes" and you're done.

~Gilly07 - Welcome aboard! It's never too late to join and we're glad to have you. This really is a terrific bunch of very supportive folks and posting here regularly has certainly helped me stay focused. Traditionally, we start a new thread each month. Otherwise the thing just gets too long and unwieldy. Look for the new one to be titled something like "August 2015 countdown, daily weigh-in" and to be posted on August 1.

Iceberg - STICK WITH IT. It'll start happening for you again eventually. I think I got stuck in the low 200s for about 2 months and then all of a sudden, the scales started moving again.

Finally, a huge congrats to everybody who has been sticking with their WOEs and losing weight. Sunny, Renee, Kosmo, Hothunt, Omablue, and WeezyB, and anyone I might have inadvertently overlooked...This cheers for you!!
