I am trying to cook one new thing a week and give it to the kids while they are blind folded so they can give it there own name. We tried mashed buttercup squash last week for the first time, I thought it was very good with slightly orange flavor. My 6 year old said that it was orange sweet potatoes and my 2 year old asked for seconds.
For diner tonight Maple walnut chicken, yucca and Brussels sprouts with garlic.

How cool that you've got not only a root cellar but a garden to grow things!!
