It's 500mg actual magnesium, excluding the chelate. But I need 3.5g you say? Thats a LOT of magnesium! Isn't there a U-shaped curve with magnesium? As in too much is just as bad as too little? I remember reading a comment on that somewhere, but a quick google scholar search yields nothing, only cases of hypermagnesia in renal failure patients.
