Default Brain over Brawn: An Owner's Manual for the Human Body

If you're at all clueless about fitness or general health, this is an awesome, nerdy, funny book that I can't recommend enough. Even better, the author released the entire thing as a http://brainoverbrawn.com/?page_id=21 on his site, trusting word of mouth to drive paperback sales.

The nutrition part of the book is only semi-low-carb (low-carb on rest days, high-carb after workouts), but the exercise part is excellent, and has a great way of cutting through common excuses (no time? no equipment? no money for a gym membership? no problem).

p.s. the author is over on reddit if you're interested.
