Default Thanks, cant wait to try it out

Hi there!

Thanks for the addresses. Went to Nippon Fare in Subi today, they had run out of the shirotake noodles, but fortunately had some konnyaku in blocks which I bought. Chatted to the lady who was very nice, she suggested that they it be dipped in hot water for approx 15 secs before using and suggested a stirfry with other veggies.

I then went to Loy's supermarket on Barrack Street in the city and they stocked the noodles, they were as described ready to go, packed in liquid, only they were not in the fridge (will that be a problem. Can they go off?). ALSO, the label quotes 2.3gms carb per 100gms, of which 2.2 sugars??!!! . The ingredients only have : water, yam powder and coagulant. No fibre quantified either. Please advise. All in all though, I suppose even 4gms carb per 180 gms(serving size of one pack) is still low compared to any other noodle. Will have to let all know what it tastes like!
