Just Checking In & Checking Up

Today is my 8 month anniversary on the Diet. Took my measurements which I do the end of every month but to my dismay I have not lost inches this month nor have I lost any weight in the past 3 weeks. My results 304/244/180 = bust -51"/46", Waist - 49"/41", Hips - 56"/49". Just kinda bummed me out cause I hadn't lost any inches or weight. But I will hang in there and I will survive and I will loose this weight. I have come to far.

You've lost 60 lbs in 8 months. That's fantastic! Your body is just taking a breather to reorganize and accept the change. Keep the water intake up and be patient. You've already proven that this WOL works, so sit back and let it :D

hi Christine

You're doing so great! You probably took longer than 8 months to GAIN 60 lbs ... so losing it that quickly is a bonus. Nat is right, your body is taking time to recompose, redistribute etc ... The fat cells dump water and fat and waste by-products for a period of time, then take a rest.

It's possible too that you may be losing fat and inches from a part of your body that you're not measuring. We tend to focus just on the bust/chest, waist, abdomen and hips ... and may see no loss there for a while ..... Then you go to try on new shoes and find that your lower legs, feet and ankles have shrunk. Or your neck, or that jiggly stuff that pooks out from under the arms.

You're doing mahvellous! Keep up the great work :yay:

Doreen
