Good luck Kricket! Quitting was one of the hardest things I've done. I went cold turkey, the first two weeks were the hardest. Boy did I get bitchy!! The two things that helped me were exercise. I'd hop on the exercise bike when I had a craving. Also sucking on candy helped, maybe you could find some low carb. I did gain 7 pounds, but I figured that was a fair exchange for being healthier (not to mention the savings in money). I have friends who quit and did not gain any weight. I wish you all the best- if you do gain weight, it will come off.
