If you meant me, certainly! If you meant someone else, oops!

The most obvious non scale victory for me was tightening the belt one hole more!!! I have stalled a bit after 2 weeks and finally decided to put the scale away for a minimum of 2 weeks because I was getting too discouraged by the numbers not changing, it is hard not to check all the time, but I can see the changes in the mirror so I'll take that victory anytime...best of luck to all

I went through the clothes in my closet and purged ...I wont need clothes for cooler weather for a couple more months but I was in the mood to purge stuff ...I realized that last year when the weather was cooler I wore sz 8 and med tops and sweaters...so I have almost NO cooler weather clothes that fit!!!

What size do you wear? When I was the weight in your stats, I wore an 8. Of course I was fifteen years younger than now, too.

Im sz 2.....Im 5'9"..maybe that's the difference....x-sm tops..my avatar is me in a sz 2 dress..( I was so excited I took the picture in the dressing room!!)

bugujo Thu, Sep-11-14 18:35

Never thought of taking pics in the dressing room LOL

lowcarbedd Thu, Sep-11-14 22:29

OK maybe my excitement took over my judgement...it was a GREAT moment!

CallmeAnn Fri, Sep-12-14 06:11

I'll bet it was. I misunderstood what the problem was with your clothes from last year. That's great. And yet, at 5'9" you should look terrible as a size 2, but the picture looks fantastic.

This way of eating is turning me into a "morning person" -- and I kind of like it. I'm sleeping deeper and waking up refreshed. No more sleeping in on the weekend and getting nothing accompleshed all morning. Today I woke up at 6:30 am ready for the day. I have lots to do and more time to do it.

Ken, now that is a very inspiring NSV. Welcome to the morning person club.

I am continuing to replace my big size clothes with smaller size clothes.

Having the same experience! I've always been a bit of a morning person even though I'm a little sluggish at first. The sluggish has gone away and I usually wake up at 4:30 with my husband now. It's awesome!!

When I was on vacation a few weeks ago, I woke my daughters up early and we all went down to the beach to watch the sunrise. Now, you could probably count on one hand the number of times I've done something like that. Anyway, I was surprised do see so many crazy people up at the crack of dawn walking the beach. There are way more "morning people" than I would have expected. And now, I guess I need to rethink that "crazy" label just a bit. Maybe I've been the crazy one - living my life with a carb hangover every morning. I used to be sluggish and half awake until I had a few cups of coffee in me. No more. I'm very much awake and I enjoy that peaceful time in the early morning. Who'd have thought that? Not me.

Hey Lowcarbedd, just noticed you went way beyond your goal, that's great! You look amazing in that size 2 dress, btw! I'm envious! :-D Lookin' good, fabulous!!
