And to think I just moved out of Delft and into Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on 9/11! God I miss the place :) One thing you will learn is that Gouda cheese is pronounced gowda, not gooooda :)

Welkom bij Holland Charlif :)

Hi Tilt and Marge!!!!! Thanks for the warm welcome. Just got back on Atkins about 3 days ago!! Doing ok, especially now that I am back working!!! No need to worry about eating when I am soooo busy!!!

Where's the rest of the Dutch bunch????

tofi Mon, Apr-19-04 17:54

My husband is Dutch born in Hattem and we have lots of relatives in that area and in Amsterdam. And Howdah/Gouda to you too.

Must say that Dutch breakfasts are FAR more Atkins friendly than French ones.

Hi Tofi! Glad to hear from you!!! Aren't Dutch men absolutely the BEST??? Mine cooks, cleans (well, not WELL, but in comparison with what most American men do, I cannot complain! lol), and brings me flowers! He even says "I love you" so often, I never feel like I am left wondering!!!! What more could a girl want, except to have found him in her back yard, instead of aseveral thousand miles away!!!!???

So sorry for having missed this thread for so long.

Here I am: born and raised in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. It would be wonderful to know some fellow Dutchmen and women to be able to exchange thoughts and ideas.

Best wishes,
