Hi, sorta vegetarian...help

So, I've done low carb as a carnivor but recently I have stopped eating beef, pork, lamb...I need recipes. I don't want to do any fake meat. I'm headed towards vegetarian ...thank you for help in this journey!

Welcome!

You didn't mention if you eat or don't eat avian - eggs, chicken, duck, etc...

Also here's a couple threads I subscribe too that are vegetarian related:

Welcome,
There is an entire sub-forum devoted to LC vegetarian here, check my recent post about 'how to':
http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=109 there are a couple of different resources within this thread, the recipes from Libby at DitchTheCarbs are always good. I made one of her versions of Fathead Pizza last night.

It isn't difficult to be LC vegetarian if you will eat eggs, dairy, and particularly continue to eat fish. Check the Recipe sub-forum here too,
Check Pinterest for Low Carb Vegetarian and use the filter functions for Recipes on DietDoctor, you can even find vegetarian by carb strictness level. https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/recipes/vegetarian

All the best,

Thank you, yes I do at this time eat poultry, fish and dairy. Thank you for the links. My biggest challenge is I'm the only one going this way in my family. I have a husband and five kids and significant others. We do all the holidays at our home and yep I'm the cook. We also do family dinner once a week.

Thank you, I will check it all out. My biggest challenge is that I have moral issues with eating meat but my large family does not. We do once a week family dinners and while some would rather stay away from beef and pork most want the usual stuff I cooked..meat and more meat..lol . So my challenge is to find my way and keep everyone happy on the food front. I don't even want to buy meat and be a part of the suffering.

I just made Libby's spinach and feta pie, and it was delightful! I recommend it!
