'Fasted' low intensity cardio
:help:
I have done lots of research over the years about the best exercise to lose weight. At 55 I am not about to start lifting weights or do 'high intensity'. I came across an article (sorry-no link) that said 30-45 minutes of medium intensity cardio, in the morning before breakfast, will not quickly burn off the insulin/blood sugar that accumulates overnight, and get your metabolism into ketosis faster. I have been doing this for a few days now-havent goten on a scale yet. I think its great if it works. One thing I have noticed is a definate 'ammonia' smell from my sweat which I never experiance before-but I never did cardio on and empty stomach while low carbibg. Anyone care to comment? |
