Cookbook Recommendations please?

Hi;
I'm looking for a low carb. cookbook and based on the summaries at Amazon can't really tell if they use a lot of artificial sweeteners or not.

This time around I'm trying very hard to keep it natural and not create mimic foods. I'd like to branch out to some other recipes but, for me, a cookbook would be a waste if it contained a high proportion of mimiced food (ie bread/pastries, oatmeal etc...) or use of splenda, or other AS. If you have a cookbook that contains little use of AS and not a lot of mimic foods I'd be very grateful for the recommendations!
Thank you,
Jo

Schwartzbein Principle Cookbook -- I haven't had anything from it that I haven't liked! Now I do have to tell you that the Plan is higher carb than Atkins so a lot of therecipes wouldn't be appropriate for someone on Induction. Absolutely no AS (her plan is anti-chemicals) and no mimic foods.

Fran McCullough's cookbooks are also very good and mostly natural. You will find AS in her desserts and some mimic foods.

I also like Atkins Quick and Easy cookbook...there are plenty of maincourse recipes that are very good. I have also found some excellent online resources of recipes (including right here - click on the recipes link above).

Lisa...who LOVES cookbooks!

I've made my own cookbook for the same reason - I just troll the web, and cut and paste any recipe that looks good over into my word processing program, print, and stick it in my binder. I got a cheap three-hole punch and some dividers to label (so I could separate main dishes from sides, etc). It's really a great resource. I started here on this site's recipe section, and have found a lot of other lc recipes online to put into it.

'course, I"m not a person who likes to cook; but I like recipes :D What's that all about?

Shalom,
Sh'ra
