Dr Cate: Fatigue & Low Carb
It's an old post, but it's something we discuss a lot:
Low Carb Fatigue Quote:
Much food for thought here. |
I don't know how others react since everyone is a little different, but 30 to 70 grams a day is a high enough carbohydrate diet to make me gain weight.

Thank you for posting this. I am still feeling weak after 9 day even with bone broth and added salt. The article is very informative and anyone who starts a LCHF diet should read this

Good point from Dr. Westman.
Another thing--when people add carbs in, it's generally not sugar and starch, if somebody adds a banana or potato a day, etc., and feels better, is it the effect of the carbohydrate, or is there some other nutrient in the food that's having the effect? |

Dr. Cate mentions tapering down when starting low carb. I know I didn't plunge into Induction. I cut my carbs in half, then in half again, and then a final time as I figured this out. This might have helped me avoid issues. |
