I have been doing Atkins on and of for more than a year now. I lost about 12 the firts two weeks on Induction and then ..the peanuts took over! :rolleyes:
I now see that it was all out of control :eek: so I decided to restart and do the Induction phase all over. I'm telling you... eating lowcarb is soo hard here in Sweden! The LC wave just recently started to spread a little :daizy:

That was 3 months ago and I'm now on the On Going Weightloss Phase, still eating 20-25 carbs/day and I have started to limit my cals to 1500-1800 cal/day. My fat intake is 70% and my daily supplements consist of a multi vitamin/mineral, beta carroten (<-Swedish), calcium complex and I'll be getting more Omega3's. I drink my 36 oz of water.
I don't know what els to do really. How much workout do I really have to do?

Just give it to me harsh! I want to hear what kind of no:skull:no's I'v been doing.

If it looks wierd for a couple of day it's because I'm giving the Egg Fast a try.

I only looked at a few days, but ... isn't that a lot of nuts? I love them but avoid them most days (and severely limit them other days).

Hi. I could have written your post. Yesterday.....a desperate woman....I did Stillman's, I lost 2 pounds, which is great for me. I am a peanut addict as well, and cut them out a while back.....no change.....so I cut out heavy cream.....no change. I do bodybuilding 5 days a week, but plan on adding 2-3 days of aerobics to see if that will get me down to 135. Here is the Stillman link, it's from this website if you are interested.

:blush: I knew someone would point out the nuts. When I ate the roasted n salted peanuts I could NEVER limit them! :skull: I stopped buying them and got the raw ones, much better! Those I could limit but sometimes not, so now I don't even buy them... now it's almonds! I got them, ate them and a couple of days ago I roasted them, "cinnamon bun" :yum: spiced them and whent NUTTS!

Galatia- Hmm, I checked Stillman's out. How long do you stay on that diet, how many calories and what is the % ratios? Is'nt that a lowfat diet? I also looked at your pictures, wow! I guessing thats your goal. Maybe we can help each other out. I could check your fitday journal and you mine :idea:
I'm sure both of us could get a better idea of what works or not that way. Deal? :D

I'n now doing the Egg Fast and when I'm done the nuts will be pretty much be gone! I know that it has been to much of the "carbs/fats/prot"s, but then again almond are only 1 Net Carb per talblespoon (0.1/almond). How many should I limit them to when I do eat them?

I think it's an individual thing AND depends on how good you are limiting yourself. I've sworn off peanuts completely, and now I have a bit of a problem with pistachios, although it's not as bad. I refuse to eat them unless I'm short on calories/fat for the day (which happens a lot, thankfully; LOL). So I use 'em when I need them, not when I want them. And I try to drink extra water if I have them, to make up for the salt.

Hi Rosa! I went to the coast yesterday and ate at the casino, where I cheated pretty badly for the first time in months, but I'm back on track today. I will be doing Stillman again today.....I think I'll do it every other day until next Friday and see how it goes. If it looks like it's not working, I'll stop before then. I figure doing it every other day I won't be going too long without roughage. Sunday when I did it my calories were 1156 / fat was 81 / carbs 5 / and protein 87. I will have to fix my fitday so you can see it. I haven't been posting what I eat lately, but I will start back. As far as a Stillman's being low fat.....you can't add any fats and you're suppose to eat lean....but I ate bacon and grilled hamburger patties, and eggs that day. Which is what I will be eating today as well. I also had my coffee and Diet Rites. What is the egg fast you are doing? Do you plan to start a journal? It'll help in finding you or you can just come to my journal to talk if you want. What exercise do you do? I love being back into bodybuilding again. You could start a gym log too. Talk to you later.
