Good Morning Low Carber's :)
Good Morning Everyone and Happy Veteran's Day! If you have served in the military or you are still serving then Thank You so much for your service to our wonderful country.
I am 41, live in the sunny state and need to lose about 35 pounds. I have successfully done Atkins before (2004) but I took it a little to far and cut back so much I started losing my hair, which freaked me out and I quit. I know if I had not gotten so cray cray with it I would have done just fine and lost the weight and kept it off. I am in a unique situation (or maybe not so unique I don't know) since I am trying to lose weight and also trying to get pregnant. If anyone has done this before please let me know how it went. I hope to "meet" everyone and I hope you all have a wonderful day! GEM |
Welcome GEM
Since you found journals, I trust you are looking around all the various topics in the many sub-forums, though some are easy to miss. There is one on Pregnancy. http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=95 Not very active, but the first post is one I placed there, is low carb safe during pregnancy? Start reading this article if any concerns how to proceed with the Diet while also doing IVF. http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=477743 Or Direct: https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/pregnancy All the best, |

Welcome to the forums!

I had my last one after a big loss at about the same age you are. She was a surprise but my doctor said weight loss can change your hormons.

Thank you for the welcome everyone :)
Jey - I will definitely read the information on the links you provided. Thank you very much. Madeyna - Did you stay LC throughout your pregnancy? If so how did you feel? GEM |
