Wyoming Diva's Virtual 'Low Carb' Christmas party - 2017
 

There's been a lot of teasing and chatter between my journal and others about everyone coming to my home in Wyoming for a Christmas party/visit.

It is a VIRTUAL (online) party, not a 'real world' one, though if anyone were to show up at my home, you would, of course, be welcome!

So, I thought it would be a good idea to bring the party over here and make it a buddy/challenge event.

Feel free to pitch in and tell us what you are bringing and when you are coming. :D

Some are offering to decorate, and others are bringing food, like lobster, pecans, and cheese!

Let's pick a date and plan a menu and activities - and help keep ourselves on plan and even losing weight during this holiday season!

I'll bring plenty of xtra scarves and gloves and boots. Extra bankets and throws. And a mean low carb cranberry pie! And some LC pumpkin bread!

Morning all, I just wish you could see the huge smile on my face right now....OMG this is sooo much fun, Love it, Love it, Love it.

I mean it when I say you guys are awesome, I can't wait to see Myrt arrive in her helicopter...too funny. And the food sounds amazing, keep it up, this is going to be a BIG party. I may even learn to actually like Christmas....

PS, I've been thinking about the arrival time. Tthis has to suit everyone, so let's hear your ideas, but for me, Christmas starts Christmas Eve, I get sort of goosebumpy thinking about Christmas Eve, Mom used to make a big deal about it, I think she was trying to get us kids all hyped up, we always opened ONE gift Christmas Eve, and at our house you just NEVER knew who was going to drop by on Christmas Eve. Mom had an open door policy, that included all our friends when we were growing up, I have wonderful Christmas Eve memories. It was a party, a time to be happy. Wow, I'd love that...but also, I really have to be home to get dinner on the table for DH and DH's son and his gfriend, we are a small family, so I'd also like to ask Susanne if you would care to join me and my small family for dinner on Christmas Day, maybe Myrt could drop you off in her helicopter. lol

As mentioned....I will bring the lobster.
...I say we pick a time...and because this is magical.....we will all arrive at the same time...and "time will stop everywhere else"....till we are ready to "go back to reality"....

So there is no stress at all....come...play...go back and it is only a second later....but we get to keep all the giggles and joy, laughter and smiles....and we will carry on....like it never happened.....to others of course...but us....WE WILL ALL HAVE THE MOST MARVELOUS MEMORIES OF OUR MAGICAL ADVENTURE!!!!!

I’m having a laughing fit thinking about Pooh piloting the helicopter, and Gina struggling through the airport with her load of pies!
This is really beyond wonderful fun!
Since Myrt is bring Pooh (or should I say since Pooh is bring Myrt?)
I would love to bring my little old lady. She only weighs 9 pounds, so she won’t be in the way....she is deaf though so watch where you step!). LOL
I was thinking, since anything is possible here, I’m going to bring my little 4 ft Christmas tree that is decorated exclusively in bird and bird related things. It’s really cute, and I’m sure Diva will have the perfect place for it.
I’m also bringing pickled fruit. I’ll triple the recipe, so we have plenty. It’s perfect with fowl or ham. It is made with some sugar, but it’s just in the marinade, so we won’t ingest much.
It’s not Christmas at our house without it....
Ok, I’m spiraling down the rabbit hole a bit here.
