Victoria get together - March 2009
 

Since our February lunch was so successful, let's start the plan for March.

Shall we start with any dates that do not work.....

Janet - are you planning on being over here any time in March?

I'll be in Kelowna the weekend of the 14th...but other than that..... :thup:

I'm busy the weekend of the 14th also and there's a stamp show in Vancouver on the 20th & 21st, but I don't think we're going over for that one. Looks like most of the month is clear. Also, as usual, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are out for lunch, and Thursday the 26th is out for dinner (that's our son's 51th birthday!).

Wow! I'm flying out to Kelowna (job-related) the 15th...oops, that's like FEBRUARY...sorry. Would have been SO nice to see a friendly face there, go hunt down some LC friendlies.

How about a weekday dinner and a Saturday lunch?

Sounds brilliant Julie! Especially as I'll be away most of April, as usual, so probably won't be available then.

How does March 7 (Saturday) sound for lunch?

We can do a later March dinner.

Works for me! And dinner toward the end of the month works too! That'll be great if everyone is willing to gear the schedule to fit my travels!!!

Now, if Janet can come over and if Anny and Lauren can join us ... that would be stupendous!!! (Is that adjective taken, or can I claim it as mine???)

So tentatively we have lunch on March 7.

How about dinner March 25 or 26?

BTW - I got a lateral transfer letter yesterday to another part of this ministry effective yesterday. I'm assigned to the Licensing Branch - will explain in more detail in person once I figure out what I will actually be doing. In part, I'll be continuing the same project I've been working on for the last month with some new stuff added.

Just wanted to loop you all in. It's not an ideal situation but there's worse things that could have happened.

Don't think we'll be seeing Lauren again...she's not into group fests so much, I think...

I'm starting to line up my ducks, March 31st auxiliary expiry will be coming up pretty fast.

Any evening except March 26th. Looking forward to hearing about the lateral transfer but we'll still keep our thoughts positive for a more upward transfer! Also for you Jude for a more permanent position.
