6 months and counting :-)

So today is my mark for 6 Months on plan.

Over the last 6 months one hell of a lot has happened in my life. Of which most of it is detailed in my journal for those wanting to read it ;).

But through out it all I have been on here to soak up the good vibes, and poor out the bad ones.

During the 6 months I have deviated from plan only on 2 occasions. One slice of cake one banana and chocolate and 3 grapes!!

Otherwise I have found this WOE to be a real success for me.

In simple terms I have lost 40 lbs not quite as linearly as I would have liked but that I think is a take home lesson for me.

I have also dropped from a size 42 inch waist to a 33 inch waist which makes me a lot happier.

This is my before photo which I still carry on my phone.

These are mine from today.

The way I am told is that the next 6 months are the hardest, and is the time most quit. After that it should be a fairly imbedded WOL and WOE.

So I look forward to continuing my success, and sharing it with you guys .

I also continue to look forward to helping out this forum in the future as it is a constant source of inspiration and knowledge.

So thanks for all the support I have received from here it has been and will continue to be appreciated.

Amazing progress! Great job sticking to your plan. The weight may come off slower now, but a little bit now will show a whole lot more than before. I wish you all the best in getting to your goal and staying there.

Huge Congrats :cheer: Jaywood, on your losses!

My favorite comment was this

On my personal journey, I've only had one cheat and I call it the infamous Thanksgiving Fiasco of 2013, where I had a non-stop carb laden orgy for 3 days straight. Gained 9 lbs, took me 6 days to lose those and swore on everything I hold near and dear to my heart that I would NEVER ever do that again. Holy Hannah, it was so NOT worth it. Lesson learned the hard way.

In any case, wishing you continued success on your journey! Onward and DOWNWARD, dude!

Super inspiring! I love before/after pics. That really lets those of us who are still fighting the battle visualize what we are fighting for.
Congrats!

Congratulations! Awesome job. I am new here and I am new to Atkins (kind of - I've done it on and off several times), but I am down 8 pounds in one week, and I feel very motivated to continue, especially after seeing the inspirational posts on this site. So, thank you! Best wishes!
