IMO We are way behind in the area of mental health and all its permutations. The impact of diet, supplements, sleep, and a myriad of other factors that are supportive is long overdue.
The little I understand about bi-polar is that it is rather complex and requires thought and care to get the brain balanced, and then keep it balanced. Dr AMen wrote a detailed chapter that was insightful in Healing ADD, and he suggests a low carb diet for support . With his years of clinical experience, perhaps he has published papers on this. He has 5 clinics and given the staff at each facility, the names on the paper could be any one of these doctors. |
