Hi guys, I am trying to figure out what is the average clothing size of a person (particularly women) at a certain weight or height.

I would appreciate it if you could volunteer the following information:

Okay, here goes:

and clothing size (or sizes) Well, this is a finicky one. Tops, I wear large or extra large - typically size 12/14 to 16/18 (I wear a 38D bra) Jackets, I wear no larger than an 18, and my winter coat is actually 14/16. My waist is 35".

Bottoms are the worst since I am a pear and have larger legs, but I wear anywhere between an 18 and 20, depending if they have lycra or not - always hip huggers, and always boot cuts. :cool: (Sweats and the like, I take a size XL - XXL, 14/16 or 18/20)

I can't stand how fat (and old lady-ish) tapered pants make me look, therefore, I haven't worn them in 7 years, LOL! I find with my body type, hip huggers and boot cuts make me look a LOT slimmer. :)

I understand these numbers look strange to you all who wear sizes close to mine and weigh a lot less than me, but I have small bones and I will almost definitely be about a size 4 when I get to goal. I was a size 8/9 at 180 pounds before. ;) Sooo, I still have a lot of sizes to go. :)

Bottom is a 14 and top is a 12 without sleeves, 14 with sleeves (I have very broad shoulders.)

The problem though is that this doesn't take lean mass into account. 2 women (or men) could be the exact same height and weight, but one could be at least 2-3 sizes smaller.
