Is it warm in here or is it me??
 

Hello PCOS sista's!

I'm on day 8 of my prometrium for the month.

I'm walking around warm and toasty. Not hot flashy. I know what those feel like. I had those in my 20's. But ever since I started Atkins Induction 4 days ago, whilst taking my prometrium I've noticed I'm a lot warmer.

I've got the fans on and the a/c.

DH is walking around freezing. ha!

Too bad. So sad.

I don't know if I"m noticing it more now that I'm LC'ing or what.

Maybe it's the combo of prometrium and my new found love of butter. ha.

Anywho, I'm new to these boards. I look forward to learning from you all.

I've been diagnosed with PCOS for 22 years. Before doctors really knew what to do with it. Not that they know now mind you.
Been through HELL and back with it. Someday I'll write my story in my journal.

Hey! Glad to have you here on the boards! I also have a 20 year anniversary coming up for my diagnosis. Crap, but PCOS sucks!

12 year diagnosis here.

LC is the way to go, I hear. I've grown to accept my pcos, but hate it. Kind of like a real jerk of a cousin or something. hahaha. Thanks to it, no kids in my future (long story...did chlomid, didn't work, can't do shots due to other physical factors and..yeah, long story). I'm just happy to not have any hairloss thanks to it and I'm 42.

I too have the heat issues. I'm always warm. I could melt snow. The summer heat is torture for me. I'm hoping if I can remove my "fat-parka" from my body, it'll help some. :)
