Craving foods like crazy - trigger warning

I'm craving pork fried rice and McDonald's french fries. Reese's peanut butter eggs. Bagels. Burgers with buns.

The first couple of weeks were so easy, probably because I lost weight and was highly motivated. I'm still determined but it seems like it's getting harder instead of easier.

Read my success story (see link in my signature). I experienced exactly what you are describing. Caving in will make the cravings worse. Stick with it and it will get easier. Right now your old favorites are screaming your name. Soon they will lose their pull. Your brain will let them go. After that you are in the driver's seat. If you stay true to your plan you will get to where you want to go. Be strong! You've got this.

This is what dreams are for, when we dream about our favorite high carb foods we can eat as much of it as we want. I can't even begin to tell you during this journey how many times I woke up feeling guilty or scared because I thought I cheated on keto just to find out it was a dream. You know you are doing something right when your nightmares involve carbs. I've lost 82 pounds or so in a year so this stuff definitely works and I definitely encourage you to keep it going and you will not only lose weight but no longer be a slave to food anymore. Theres nothing more empowering than taking back control of your life and defeating the addiction that is food.

Looked fondly at the Cadbury bird eggs this Easter but did not give in. Do I regret it? No. Did I feel cheated? No. I think I just felt acceptance that sugar is my demon. Hang in there. We will never regret achieving our goal!

I have totally had vivid dreams about eating carby foods, almost always a dessert, like an ice cream sundae. Happens when I am in groove of really low carb. I guess it's my singal I'm eating right!
