Stephen Hawking, extraordinary and no more

He was also a low carb pioneer.

When I read the book by his first wife, she was quite clear that early on, she noticed what he ate had a profound effect on his symptoms. So she went low carb, no sugar, no wheat. And they stuck with it.

Is this how he defied all longevity expectations by a factor of FIVE?

I wonder.

I didn't know that, interesting. I wonder if he practiced any type of fasting?

BTW: your post is at the top in GOOGLE search for "stephen hawking diet" :)

It was just a few paragraphs, but quite clear. And this was the revised version that came out with the movie, so, the advice still stood, obviously.

Read an article that said it was just because of his genetics and zest for life -- diet had nothing to do with his longevity. :(

They just can't accept diet affects health yet?
