Easter Challenge: Sexy Bunny Hunt
 
Ok, we had a great Challenge with the High Fat vs. Low Fat thread and now it's time to move on.

I don't know about you all, but I know I have a sexier me inside and she wants to come out and play.

Who want to join me?

Easter Sunday is 15 weeks from today -- I'm going to set 160 as my goal (I'm ambitious :p )

What day are the weigh-ins?? Mondays again??

Yeah let's start fresh with this challenge as of tomorrow, MONDAY!

I will weigh in well, you know me, I weigh in daily. But ya'll can pick a day of the week to weigh in. I know some people already have a set day of the week they prefer to weigh in and that's fine. As long as we are getting stats in weekly to see everyone's progress, then it doesn't matter when you weigh in. :)

I'm gonna go ahead and close off the other thread. :)

Ok, I have official weigh in on Sundays. I will post weight on that day. I weigh everyday too! :nono: Can't seem to break it! It is what gets me out of bed each morning and running for the bathroom! :lol: Well of course having to go all the time does that too!!! HA
I propose we all vote on a TP we like and take stock out in it and buy only that brand? What do ya say?? :lol: Skinny and Rich!!!!

Do we post meals daily? I usually post to fitday every other day or so from my food journal. That way I can see where I am at.
I think I will just make a link to fit day if that is ok.

Glad you are all here. I'm so ready to rid my body of this excess weight.

I want us to stay motivated so I'm going to try once a week to post something that will help us stay on track. A motivational quote or something from the Dr. Phil site, which you all know I love. :) Anything, to keep us on track and motivated. I want us all to succeed, and we will. :cheer:


Staying Motivated and Avoiding Danger Zones

Stay Motivated
Nobody ever said that losing weight would be easy. Staying motivated can be hard work, but it isn't impossible. Accept that you may hit a motivational plateau. At first, losing weight and exercising is exciting and fun. After time, many people lose their motivation. The key to motivation is figuring out how to keep going, even when you don't feel like doing so.


Don't rely on willpower -- it simply doesn't work. Willpower is driven by emotions, which can be fickle. Emotions landed you into a weight problem, but they won't get you out of it. Instead, program yourself for success and stick to the program.


Give yourself permission to say, "I don't have to want to do this all the time." By acknowledging that, you can respond to it accordingly. People who watch what they eat and exercise regularly don't necessarily want to, but they understand that their actions have consequences. They've programmed themselves for success.

Avoid Danger Zones
You can't be overweight unless you have a lifestyle to support it. Danger zones can be places, times or moments:


Places: Clean up your kitchen pantry. You can't eat unhealthy food if it's not there. Avoid fast-food restaurants and other places that don't go along with your goals.


Times: Change your routine. If you know you tend to eat junk food late in the evening when you decompress, come up with some alternative stress-reducing behaviors that don't involve food.


Moments: When you get an impulse to eat, and you're standing in front of food, fight it. Leave the room, go outside, do whatever it takes. The impulse will pass. Fight the urges moment by moment.

I'm game! Weighless will be a great bday gift to myself for turning 35 in april.
I was 165 this morning. I'll keep sunday as weigh in.
I'd love to be 145 by easter.

Hey Ladies, What a Kule name.... I love it :) And I would love to be part of this challenge as well. I think I will learn how to do the link to fitday. I almost always post everything in there. Yeah..... How much fun this will be. I will weigh-in tomorrow and will probably keep Thursday as an official weigh-in day.

What fun :agree: :agree: :agree: Lets see I have got to do some calculating here.... 15 weeks.... my first thought would be goal, but as I have been learning I think that is going to take a little longer than anticipated and probably healthier too. So depending on what I weigh-in for tomorrow... I would like to be 10 lbs lighter. This will put me in the low to mid 30's and I would be oh so estatic with that. I can't wait to weigh-in now. A new challenge certainly does keep all of us motivated and what a group so far. FUN FUN FUN :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p

I added in rodmick and cathy44 also. It looks like this was going to be alphabetical so I stuck to that.
