Cream cheese

Roast beef
Gelatin and hh yoghurt

Wild tuna, herbs, butter and HB yolks
Same, again, but w/ cream cheese

Gelatin and yoghurt

Totals:

I count the fat and carbs in my supplements, too.

this recipe i have for chicken uses chicken thighs...i really dont like dark meat...but i am wondering when you add in other things and spices if you can even tell its dark meat?? thoughts

SilverEm Sat, Jun-13-15 13:20

To me, the dark and light meats have different tastes and textures. If you really don't like the dark, I think you would taste it being what it is, no matter how it is prepared. If that's what you've got, and you need to eat it, perhaps lots of bacon and butter, or a cream sauce, or melted cream cheese and green onions or chives???

I'm that way about tuna. The albacore is really dry, and even with butter or mayo, I find it somehow hard and scratchy. I prefer the other. I would eat the albacore if I had it, but I'd have to cook it in beef drippings or something.

ljsmom Sat, Jun-13-15 13:50

oh i dont have dark, the recipe just calls for dark...i like breast and i have breast,,,its a buffalo chicken casserole...this is the recipe....i can get thighs if i need too, but havent liked dark, but didnt know with all other stuff in if i could tell difference....

http://www.ruled.me/buffalo-chicken...pper-casserole/

thats funny about the tuna, i love albacore and cant hardly eat the other lol

i havent ate all day and think we are going to a buffet for dinner and then going to listen to a band we like...i am going to chow down on meat meat and meat :)

SilverEm Sun, Jun-14-15 01:49

Hi, Stacy. :daizy: I was thinking as I typed that post, that it'd be nice if we could swap. I often wish I had someone to trade foods with. An example, I toss egg whites most of the time, and would like to find someone who wants fresh whites and would trade. More egg yolks would be splendid! Egg yolks and cream cheese are one of my favorites.

Hope the buffet was nice! I'm glad you are back on your WOE.

ljsmom Sun, Jun-14-15 02:51

hahahha that is funny...the other morning on his way home from work ray brought me home a breakfast sandwich from subway to share with him...of course he doesnt have to worry about his weight and can eat anything he pleases so he ate it all, and i ate mine middle without the bread,,,it was egg white with steak and bacon in the middle....i told him how yummy it was as i loved the whites much more than the yolks...lol..this was the first time i had one of the sandwiches and wow was that inside tasty

between you and i and what parts we each like we would have no waste...

happy happy blessed sunday :)

SilverEm Sun, Jun-14-15 02:56

Stacy, that'd be great, I agree. :)

Yes, no waste. That would be nice swapping. Steak, bacon and egg white sounds like your WOE, how nice!

I wish you a blessed Sunday, too. :daizy:

SilverEm Sun, Jun-14-15 05:50

Today's food:

Black tea w/ sea salt and hwc
CLO/Flaxseed oil
A few freshly picked herbs
Cream cheese

Roast beef
Gelatin and hh yoghurt

Wild tuna, HB yolks and cream cheese
probably that once more

Gelatin and yoghurt

perhaps a bit of cream in cold seltzer

----
The beef roast will be gone in a day or two, and next will be chicken liver or calf brains for the first meal, for a few days.

thanks for posting your food plan. I have a pattern of lose weight today, gain a little back tomorrow, then lose more the next day. So I'm going down, but with an up and down pattern. When I look at what I've eaten, the up days usually include some "approved" veggies... After reading your post I'm going to take another look and see what happens with more protein and less vegetables I also noticed that the days I ate cream cheese showed no weight loss at all.

it's an interesting science to me. I just have to observe and test and figure out what works best for me and my body. thanks again for sharing and giving me some new ideas.

ljsmom Sun, Jun-14-15 15:01

someone talk me off the ledge....i know its ok, i just need a voice of reason and validation...in one of the other groups i belong too on facebook one of the girls wants to debate me saying i am eating too much protein and thats killing my kidneys...I am not going to debate her, but just need some reassurance that I am ok....thanks sisters :)

SilverEm Sun, Jun-14-15 15:34

Hi, Louise. :) How nice of you to visit and post here. Thanks very much for your kind words. My food plan is in my signature, too, and also a link for part-time meat-and-eggers, who are not as strict as I am.

I wish you success and happy LCing, whatever food plan you are on. :daizy:
