How do you select a vegetables?
Karen, I am from Cuba and the vegetables we have there are quite different. I just don't know how to select good vegetables when I go to the grocery. I selected an eggplant that I think it was green and when I cooked it I did not like it. I don't know how to select zuchini or any of those veggies. Can you give me a quick lesson on what to look for.
I am great selecting limes that are juicy and good, but veggies, I am pretty bad. Thank you for your help. Jen |

Thank you Nefarious. That information is very good. I am going to drive around and see if I can find a farmers' market, that way I can ask them directly. The ones that confuse me the most are eggplant, Squash, Zucchini, etc. (those type). Again, thanks a lot, I really appreciate it.
