Cymbalta for fibromyalgia
 

Has anyone been taking Cymbalta for fibromyalgia? Do you know if it causes weight gain? I have taken so many meds that have caused me to gain weight that it has become almost impossible to loose anything. The doctor gave me this but I don't want to take anything that will cause me to gain even more weight.

I'd give it a try anyway. Your body might have the opposite affect, who knows? I tried it years ago. It took away the pain but I laid on the bed and gained 20#. He added Lyrica to it and I didn't do any better.
After a few years of not taking it, my current doctor put me on a low dose of liquid doxepin and it works for me. It's a very old drug so the young pups don't like to prescribe it.
