2wks of rollercoaster
hi, haven't posted in awhile , always fun reading all these posts. well , i've been on 2wks induction , haven't lost any "weight". i would lose 2 -3lbs then gain it back. can't pinpoint exactly why. there is some confusion on how much protein is required. right now i weigh 190 , so i've been eating about 2200 to 2300 calories, but somedays i eat like 3000calories. keeping carb down to 20to30grm. could i be eating 2 much protein? or calories? also wondering if any1 has taken any diet supplements , such as hydroxycut or xenedrine in conjunction w/ atkins diet.

Without knowing exactly what you are eating, it is hard to tell what may be causing the troubles.
Start a journal and include everything, even your amount of water and you will get a ton of advice from everyone here in this forum!! |
Take a look in the General Exercise forum for a thread about thermogenics like hydroxycut....you'll see TONS of info there. You can also use the search feature.
I also suggest starting a journal. Are you exercising? If not, 3000 cals may be too many. Do you have a history of yo-yo dieting? This, of course, will lower your metabolism over time and needs to be taken into consideration when calculating your BMR. Ideally, you should take in 500-600 calories a day LESS than your energy spent (caloric OUTput). Don't make the mistake of thinking that a higher calorie deficit will help you lose weight faster..... in the long run it will only hamper your efforts. |
