Zero post count?
 

Hi. I'm a relatively new member from LCF and have posted a few times but my post count says zero. Can you tell me why? Anyone?

Now it says 1 :) - checked and see that the only other thread you posted on was "Displaced LCF members - check in!" interesting, should have counted those, maybe an admin has insight.

Oy yeah! I see that it does say that now. I don't understand why it didn't count my other posts, though.

Now you have a post count of 2. They are probably both from this thread. I just did a little experiment... It looks like anything posted in the The Lounge (off-Topic) section does not count towards your post count. I am not a moderator, but I suspect that they put that in place because certain features (such as private messaging) are only activated after reaching a certain number of posts. I guess that they wanted those posts to be on-topic, or at least forum related.

As khrussva noted, threads/posts in Everything Else and The Lighter Side (Off-Topic forums) aren't included in the post count, nor are posts in the Test section :exclm:

We encourage everyone to participate in the support areas of the board. If you haven't done so already, you could post an Introduction and tell us a bit about yourself. If you're an experienced lowcarber, maybe you have some helpful insights or suggestions for Newbies. Or maybe start a Journal and visit the journals of other members. There are a slew of active Challenges underway, or you could start your own .. I'm sure you'll have company in no time :thup:
