I survived my son's birthday party.
 
Made it through with flying colors no cake or ice cream. He wanted a cheese cake that's a big favorite of mine but really I wasn't even tempted I'm in this for the long haul.

Great job - those are the little victories that mean so much. It's so easy to say 'I'll start again after...' or 'I can cheat for this particular event'. Congratulations! Also, if you're craving cheesecake, there's a low-carb 'mock danish' that is delicious. You can probably google for variations, but I use 3 tbls cream cheese mixed with 1 egg yolk, a little vanilla extract and some splenda for sweetening. Mix it all together, and microwave in 30 second intervals until it's kind of firm. It tastes very much like cheesecake.
