Ok, it is about how soft drinks actually are really bad. Even worse than french fries. But I want to highlight: Quote:

I have seen dramatic differences in people who gave up soda; even diet soda. We may not know exactly what is going on, but this happens too repeatably for me to think diet sodas are the consequence-free answer.

maybe it is a tool.
Atkin specifically limits AS to 3 a day. And in one edition cites the story of a client not dropping weight..... bc/ consuming 50 serving a day via soda. Eat too much fat, weigh piles on. yet fat is high percent of diet for those doing keto. tools. |
I've found diet soda neutral in any of the ways I've measured at home, blood glucose or urine ketones. No effect on weight loss or energy. When I sweeten actual food, that's a bit different, there things can get carried away. In high school my favourite snack was washing down poppy bagels with diet coke, I think maybe drinking diet pop with food might be like sweetening the food itself, so I don't do that.
