Girgling in the stomach

Hello,

I have a question, in between my meals (usually around 2 hours after last one) my stomach starts girgling like I am digesting my foods or something is going to explode, has anyone else be getting this??? What do you actually think it is??

Food combining digests food very efficiently so it is probably moving through you faster than the sluggish way it would if you ate proteins and carbs together like most people do.

It could be just your tummy rumbling because it is now empty or just gas moving around inside your digestive system. I get it sometimes and it is sometimes followed by what I think you Americans call gas.

In many versions of food combining you are not supposed to drink with meals as it dillutes the digestive juices. If you are doing this make sure you drink enough between meals or you might become dehydrated.

I wouldn't worry about it if you don't get any discomfort with it. My stomach is most noisy at night!

Good luck,
Robert

Since going low carb - I gurgle quite a lot. And gassiness for me is so far reduced. I find that my meal portions overall are much smaller than they were with added starchy foods.

Maybe with the added fat, your gall bladder is more active and secreting more often.

Are you new to the diet (food combining). I noticed this gurgling you are describing the first couple of days but it seems to be decreasing now. I just figured it was my system adjusting to the new WOE and possibly even getting ready to clean itself out.

I think it is what Robert suggested "--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
