Nutrition Facts for full-fat Greek yogurt
Can anyone help me track down this information?
I make my own "Greek" yogurt by straining the whey out of plain full-fat Dannon yogurt. Of course, the nutrition facts following this process don't match the facts on the original label. All the sites I've checked list only the fat-free kinds--even My P.L.A.N. (as far as I looked). Such is the prevailing attitude towards fat! Or perhaps someone has already done their own calculation and can save me some arithmetic. Thanks! |
On Cron-o-meter they list for 1 ounce Fage full fat greek yogurt:
Energy: 26.9 kcal Protein: 2.6 g Carbs: 1.1 g Lipids: 1.4 g Jean |
Thank you! I'll put this in my Custom foods list right now.

P. S. I'm assuming one ounce is a weight measure, not a liquid measure?

Maybe this will help.

But now you have that answer... to further confuse the situation....
