Is this plan acceptable please ?

Hi. I posted on the wrong forum a few days ago but I got some very helpful comments nevertheless. Anyway I've been to do some more work and I intend to follow the following plan. Does this seem the way to go ?

Bkfst...30 grams cream cheese wrapped in ham.
Mid morning...weak coffee 15 mls cream
Lunch...2 egg omlette with 25 grams of cheese, green salad and 1 tblspn mayo
mid afternoon...weal coffee 15mls cream
Dinner...portion of meat or fish, green veg, 1 tblspoon butter
Snack...1 egg and 30mls cream made into egg custard.

Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks

It looks a bit heavy in dairy, which many people have problems with. It may be better to start with strict Atkins 1972 Induction:
Cheese: Four ounces (114 g) a day of any hard aged cheese. No cream cheese or cheese spreads.
Heavy Cream: Four teaspoons (20 ml) a day.
and try adding cream cheese and extra cream after 2 weeks.

Oh..I was going by new atkins. Does this sound better?

Bkfst 50 grams hard cheese wrapped in ham.
Lunch 2 egg omelette with 50 grams hard cheese, green salad 1 tbspn mayo.
Dinner portion meat or fish green veg and 1 tbspn butter
Snack 1 egg and 20 mls of cream made into egg custard.

I will probably divide the cheese and have half portions for meals and the other for mid morning and mid afternoon. Is that o.k?
Thankyou

Forgot to ask How is cream any different from hard cheese?

Ms Arielle Sun, May-13-18 13:38

hard cheese and cream is not the same. cream has far more sugar than hard cheese. So the amount of heavy cream is limited each day.

While Atkins allows for snacks of the OP types, I have found I do better after a transition period to fewer snacks. For me most snacks trigger more eating not less.

Good luck.....you can do this!
