Diet Doctor Site

I'm thinking about asking for a subscription to the Diet Doctor site for Christmas. :) I was just wondering...do they email you updates when new articles/videos are posted, or do you just peruse the site when you are looking for something?

Thanks. :)

Yes, they email updates. I have a subscription. I value it partly for the extra information I can get. But mainly I chose to subscribe in order to support this outstanding website which provides the best information on healthy eating for FREE on the main pages.

For a similar reason, I am a contributor to this Forum. Also, I really, really enjoy not having to look at advertising.

Amen on the "no ads", Barb.

I do the same with a small forum on travel hacking where I'm a member. I KNOW how hard the guy who runs that forum works, around his education, his business and being the main caretaker for his not quite 2 and a half year old son.

It's good to support people and places that offer value.

Agree with Barb. However the notices for new videos and articles are in the newsletter, not daily, so I also added the DietDoctor News page https://www.dietdoctor.com/news to my LC RSS feed.

There is new stuff practically every day, so it is easiest to just bookmark the site and check it often.

Thanks you!

I agree the DietDoctor site is worth supporting with a membership. New, fresh information is posted frequently. Another site that is worth supporting financially is this very forum. I've been able to find diverse information here that is very valuable and far exceeds many other sites for acquiring the knowledge required to develop and maintain a healthy WOE.

Exactly, Rob. I was gobsmacked when I first joined this forum, at the breadth AND the depth of information available.

Plus, no more predictive ads. Which, because I sell on Amazon, always show me things that I already have 10 of, thank you: I was checking the price!

I too support 2 sites, diet doctor and this one. I used to support a sewing site that was very helpful to me and I would start supporting it again if I ever started sewing again which could happen any day now.

Wow I just found the Diet Doctor's site thanks to reading this forum! Thanks! Its great! Better than Atkins. I joined and I'll pay the $9 per month until I've read and watched everything on there. The success stories are incredible! The stories about how people reversed devastating illness by going LCHF is amazing! I love it there... :)

Well, there are not a lot of websites that are NOT better than the execrable corporate shilling site that calls itself Atkins, IMNSHO.

Phoenix, I hope that you decided to treat yourself to the DietDoctor membership. He is always adding new membership benefits, and for New Years, it is Menu Planners. The menu planner includes one for keto, different levels of carbs, dairy-free, etc. It is still in development but looks great, with shopping lists, can vary by serving numbers, etc.

The Two Week Challenge is back. https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/get-started
It was based on Dr Westman's clinic program last year, http://www.kostdoktorn.se/wp-conten...starch_diet.pdf. But now DietDoctor has a Keto Plan, both are at 20g carbs, really no difference.

So many new recipes have been added, all with gorgeous photos. Example, the ones for New Year's Day:
https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb.../happy-new-year

All the recipes and many helpful health guides and diet information, remain on the free site for anyone who does not wish to join.

Check his news everyday and it will inspire LCers to stay the course: https://www.dietdoctor.com/news. You see the latest LC studies and what does get posted to the member site, which you can see that part for a free 30 day trial. All good.

I just discovered this Diet Doctor site. It looks really impressive and the production value is top notch.

I really like the Top 18 Tips list here:

https://www.dietdoctor.com/how-to-lose-weight

My only criticism is that it's impossible to find a specific page again once you've clicked on some of the other videos and links. It's like walking around a funhouse.

I had not heard of this Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt before. He is so good at motivating and inspiring!

Does anyone know if he's ever been overweight himself before? The reason I ask is that it actually seems that he genuinely cares, and I don't think I've ever seen that in a naturally skinny person before. It's discombobulating.
