Diabetes & Taste Buds!
Something else I've noticed since going LC...
Food tastes better! I'm really enjoying my food much more than I have in years! I had a stray thought wondering if my neuropathy was effecting my taste buds and found this article: https://www.webmd.com/diabetes/news...e-buds-diabetes I've had quite a dramatic drop in BG since going low carb and I think my neuropathy is already getting better. It could of course be a combination of many things. I am eating much less and taking more time and care in preparing the meals I do eat so that is one reason meals are tasting better. Also, I quit smoking almost 2 months ago and that also is reported to have a positive effect on the taste of food. |
Food does taste better since going low carb for me too :D
Vegetables even taste sugary sometimes I found that smoked oysters are just too much tasting like an old ashtray for me to eat anymore lol Kudos to you for still not having a cigarette yay! -- I'm with you on that pathway :) |
