butter as a snack?

Does anyone eat butter by the pat? I have done this now and am becoming VERY fond of it, maybe too fond - I have the special Kerry Gold butter and it's amazing!

Is there a limit to what I can have?

I do when I travel and need to get my fat volume. I think you'll find your own limit, and a tablespoon is 11 grams of fat. Usually when eating butter, you feel satiated soon and don't want any more. I love Kerry Gold, enjoy!

You're not alone, DD! There is a thread called something like "Butter Snackers unite" somewhere on the board!

Hi, 1DD. :) I eat dabs of butter, pretty much whenever I wish.

JEY, thanks for the thread link!

Thank you all for the info, and thanks Janet for the link - I am amazed how much info you have stored (somewhere :daze: ).

I'll hop on over and check it out...

this time I am NOT constipated and it must be the fat - I hope I still lose weight!

Thank you, Janet!

As yummy as it is, getting a whole stick down alone, at once, would be challenging. That's the beauty of high-fat foods, they actually satisfy and don't usually make you crave more.
