My doctor tells me that for every 15 mg of Zinc
supplementation, I should add 2 mg of Copper. Has anyone else
heard of this? If so, why?

Actually, it is for every 75 mg of Zinc supplementation You
should add 2 mg of Copper.
Let me guess, is it for acne?
Zinc is actually very toxic!!! I would not personally use more
than 75 mg of Zinc on a long term basis.
The final determination of what is best for the patient is
both the right and responsibility of the individual patient.

Zinc and copper compete for absorption. Therefore, too much
zinc can result in copper deficiency.
