Hi...just want to make sure I am doing this correctly: I find that most of my dinners (3-4 p/wk) consist of good carbs, no fat as illustrated in MM's book.I do not eat meat or chicken, so I tend to consume more of my proteins during bkfst or lunch. Am I incorrect, or can my carb meals be 50 gi or less, as oppsed to 35. Will I still lose weight this way?thanks so much for all your insight!

Hi PD4

For weight loss the meals should be 35 or under :)

Hi there,
I exercise quite a bit so I don't know if this had anything to do with it, but I did lose all my weight by following the phase 2 plan. I am very careful about balancing my higher GI carbs with lots of vegetables & protein though. I snack on raw celery or carrots while I'm preparing dinner & really make sure that whichever carbs I choose are grainy & coarse.
It might be a question of experimenting & seeing what level GI your body can manage.
