Well today I hit the big 50 lbs loss mark :) (lost 3 lbs this week) This is after a 4 week stall(no suprise the stall started the week I quit smoking).
So this brings me really really close to my next MAJOR goal, and that is 281 lbs. Why is 281 the magic number? Well because 281 will bring me up to the 50% gone level and I honestly questioned whether I would ever see that day when I started here 3 months ago.
The only complaint is these last 3 to 5 lbs have all came out of my arms and legs! Why doesn't my body realize I can live with the fats arms, I want it to remove the stuff around my waist right now :daze:

Congratulations! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: 50 pounds lost is a wonderful achievement!
My first 50 pounds seemed to come off everywhere except my stomach, which was the place I most wanted to lose. I am now up to having lost 75 pounds and a lot of the last 25 seem to have finally come off my stomach and waist. Hang in there, eventually you will lose everywhere.

Tell me about it  , I've lost weight off my FEET!!! for goodness sake when you look at me why did someone think I needed my feet to be skinnier first?????? .....
Oh well, I have slimmer feet now so thats one thing :D .....
Congrats on the weight loss and good luck with it all - I'm sure you will do it with style, determination and class (and slim feet - I highly recommend them :D )

 HAPPY DANCE TIME!!!!
Where do I most want to lose fat first? Tummy and butt.
Where am I losing fat first? Face, thighs, and neck.
I think I need to see the shop steward for my metabolism, and negotiate a different contract. :)

Congrats on the 50 pound weight loss, how proud you must be.
I agree that it seems the fat in the belly, but and thigh area is the last to go but go it will if we keep on doing what we are doing.
Again congratulations for a job well done.

CONGRATULATIONS, mrschmelz!!!
That's an awesome achievement! And I know just how sweet it is to reach milestones that you felt were so far down the road.
I can also relate to losing weight from specific areas and not from others. But I'm here to tell you that it will even out! I was a bit lopsided for a while, but I'm feeling and looking better every day now.
Good luck and good health to you!
