OMG! Sounds wonderful, BUT,pretty spendy when it comes to the carb count, my tapioca says 8g of carb per tbsp, +cream+splenda+ I always used to put vanilla in my tapioca too. Darn! It has me droolin' tho :( I treally miss the creamy, sweet comfort foods! :) I think I have to pass on this one, tempting as it is!

Hi AuntieJ...
I am following the Schwartzbein Principle. In her book, it says a 1/4 CUP of tapioca has 15 carbs...so it does have approx. 7 1/2 per "2" Tbls.---------------It is good!!!---Angie
P.s...Maybe it would work with less tapioca...I'll try and see

I just might have to check out Schwartzbein!!!!! I think I'm in a "scary place", I'm stalled & better not start trying out different programs cuz I might give up & be right back where I started :( Patience, where are you??????????? It didn't come overnight so I guess it won't just go away huh???? Thanks, Marla

Hi Marla
I know how frusterating this can be for all of us. I started out on Atkin's for a couple of months. I got bored with the variety. You wouldn't believe how many low carb books I have read! I think it is a matter of what appeals to you. I am about 1/2 way through the Schwartzbein book, and it is wonderful! I also bought the cookbook. I bought my on-line at Amazon.com. You get both books for about $20.00. It is worth reading. And the recipes are to die for! I mean things that you really do like and are easy to make. I've lost 4 pounds in 2 months on Atkin's. I just started the other a couple days ago. Hope it helps---and good luck to you too!---------------Angie

Yes, I really think you have to try what works for you. i think the general princilpe of LC is more sensible, it is just which one works for you.
I mean think about it logically, cave man (and woman) had to go out and hunt the wooly mamoth for food most of the year. The only time he had the carbs was in the summer so he could bulk up on fat to survive the winter! Hey, I'm ready for a long winter!
